It is our policy to provide our customers with the best possible service. We have engineered the following policies for the convenience of our clients. If at any time, special arrangements need to be made to assist you please let us know. We will everything in our power to best accommodate you.
Special orders and altered items are not returnable, nor exchangeable. Request for exchange or store credit must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Refunds will be honored within 14 days of purchase with presentation of the original receipt. Refunds are issued in accordance with the original method of payment. Refunds on check purchases will be given after 10 business days. Returned merchandise must be unused, in original condition and, where applicable, in the original gift box with all warranty cards and instruction booklets intact.
Special order items and custom work are not returnable, nor exchangeable. Special orders are defined as a non-inventory purchase, a stock item custom made or altered at customer request (i.e. sizing, engraving). Custom work requires a 50% non-refundable deposit before any work begins. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client’s complete satisfaction.
Layaway accounts are created with an initial deposit of 20%. Monthly payments are required to maintain the account in good standing. If no payment is received for a period of 90 days, the account will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued.
Repairs are warranted for one year from date of delivery unless otherwise designated. Only the specific repairs performed are covered. Problems resulting from inherent flaws, abusive or excessive wear, customer negligence or accidental damage are not covered. Murphy-Pitard Jewelers reserves the right to designate some repairs as non-warrantable and will so inform the customer before the work is done. Murphy-Pitard Jewelers reserves the right to determine if a problem is covered by warranty and to choose the course of corrective action.
